Arcis DNA Blood Kit

Arcis Biotechnology has launched the Arcis DNA Blood Kit (IVD). The kit uses a three minute two step system to prepare DNA from fresh or frozen whole blood samples for use in in vitro diagnostic applications. It is also suitable to extract DNA from specimens stored in ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and heparin-containing solutions. The product is non-hazardous, and both ships and stores at room temperature for ease of handling, the company said.
