ArcherDx VariantPlex Solid Tumor Panel

ArcherDx has launched the VariantPlex Solid Tumor Panel, a targeted next-generation sequencing-based assay to detect somatic variants in 67 cancer-associated genes. Archer VariantPlex assays use the company's anchored multiplex PCR (AMP) technology to capture and amplify sections of the genome frequently mutated in cancers. AMP libraries have greater target recovery from short fragments, making the technology ideal for low-input formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples, ArcherDx said.
