Job Description

The Website Program Manager will be an integral part of the digital marketing team across the entire Twist Bioscience product portfolio. You will be leading program management and execution for marketing tactics to meet the business strategies of Twist’s product portfolio and objectives of corporate stakeholders (HR, PR, Legal, Executive team). You will provide tactical planning, execution, and maintenance activities for the core website and CMS (content management system). To be successful in the role you will: 

  • Act as integration “engine” between marketing, vendors and agency partners, and other stakeholders to execute website tactics and content updates
  • Own content deployment calendar and manage stakeholder priorities and adherence to standards/budget
  • Manage program operations, timelines, and risks by applying digital content management best practices
  • Develop business rules / creative briefs to execute website tactics
  • Liaise with IT to ensure alignment on hosting, domains, security and other ad hoc processes
  • Coordinate and manage operational process and requirements (e.g., platform and CMS templates)
  • Manage creative content and production vendor timelines and delivery aligned to business goals and BRDs/briefs
  • Oversee agency/vendor adherence to QA/QC processes, track and share QA/QC results
  • Ensure adherence to agency and vendor management activities (e.g. onboarding/offboarding, postmortem/performance review, financial mgmt)
  • Ensure accurate asset tagging by agency/vendors (in partnership with iPA) per BRD/briefs
  • Ensure execution of campaign management best practices
  • Create standards/processes to ensure efficiency and scalability
  • Provide CMS requirements and identify best practices; manage best practice implementation
  • Manage timelines and project plan dependencies for key stakeholder approval process for all website tactics and updates to be deployed
  • Provide expertise on digital trends in the marketplace impacting professional marketing using data driven strategic insights to apply on an on-going basis to the marketing plan



Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ years of digital program management experience in Life Sciences or Tech
  • Experience with website content management systems (Drupal preferred)
  • Exceptional agency management to guide and drive projects forward, and help identify and remove roadblocks
  • Experience working through challenges by partnering with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional team members and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of their activities
  • Agency or consulting experience is a strong plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; proven abilities to effectively manage and complete multiple priorities and projects
