We are currently seeking a Proteomics and Protein expression Technician at the Bioscience and Bioengineering Core Facility which covers proteomics, protein expression, cell sorting, next generation sequencing and functional genomics.


Major Responsibilities:

- Work in a team of scientists to conduct both routine and custom research-grade analyses

- Work with experienced analysts to use methods involving gel electrophoresis, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and other techniques

- Prepare samples for analysis

- Retrieve and compile data

- Exhibit the highest degree of reliability and accuracy to assure quality results

- Perform routine laboratory duties and maintenance



- A MSc degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field

- Experience in biology, biochemistry or similar lab environments

- The desire to work in a team dedicated to achieving highest quality results

- Preferably: Experience with protein extraction, identification and quantification
