Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer I to join our team! The Technical Writer will write, review, implement, and maintain technical documents for our GMP Production area. Documents include, but not limited to, standard operating procedures, production records, Master Batch Records, and process development reports. 

About the Role:

  • Writing and editing Manufacturing Summary reports
  • Writing and editing applicable Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, production records and batch records. Ensure consistency and proper format throughout documents
  • Update status of Manufacturing Summary Reports within the project dashboard
  • Update status of Master Batch Records within the project dashboard
  • Responsible for following Aldevron SOP's and adhering to regulatory expectations
  • Maintenance of personnel training record
  • Work closely with manufacturing and Quality Assurance to ensure all processes conform to quality requirements
  • Assist Project Management with client updates on status of Master Batch Record drafting and updating as needed

About You:

  • 2 years or more of experience in Technical Writing or Communications
  • Bachelor's Degree in English or Communications with an editing or writing emphasis preferred
  • Prior work in a GMP manufacturing environment is preferred
