Job Description

The Technical Associate in Automated Production and Filling is responsible for performing and comprehending assigned automated production tasks that include maintenance and troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. •Operate and maintain sophisticated automated production equipment within filling, assembly and packaging production areas. • Assist in training of other manufacturing employees on the operation and maintenance of manufacturing related equipment/processes. • Adhere to and accurately complete/review all production-related documentation. • Assist and participate in the setup, changeover and preparation of related production equipment and materials. •Work as a team member, and assist other production associates as needed. • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues, and communicate issues and discrepancies to area management. • Contribute to cross-functional troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives. • Contribute to and support department/corporate goals. •Responsible for ensuring on-going compliance to applicable quality and EHS regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, US FDA, MDD, IVDD, EU-PSHA, OSHA, etc.). •Working hours will be 7am-3:30pm.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related work experience or AA Degree with minimum of 1 year of related experience. • Understanding of ISO 9000 and cGMP practices is preferred. • Candidate should have experience with automated manufacturing equipment. • In-depth knowledge of job tasks; general to minimal supervision required. • Able to use general to advanced/automated production equipment. •Strong technical background required. • Familiarity with computers and basic MS Office applications. • Able to plan use of equipment, materials, production documents and their own personal time efficiently. • Able to complete/review production-related documentation accurately. • Basic and advanced mathematical skills are required; understanding of metric volumes and measures is required. • Work safely and effectively in a team environment. • Strong organization and attention to detail skills. • Able to communicate issues and problems to supervisors. • The work environment is fast-paced and involves the ability to quickly change priorities and multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor. •Able to schedule and plan production related tasks and activities.
