Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Commercial Operations, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal corporate and sales functions as well as third party business partners to establish and globally manage Illumina’s reagent rental program for its products & services.

All About You



  • Lead development and management of commercially successful and compliant reagent rental programs in three regions Americas, Europe and Africa, Asia-Pacific.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, regulatory, marketing, sales, business unit resources, to develop reagent rental programs that meet customer financial and operational needs.
  • Work with other internal stakeholders in finance, customer solutions, sales operations, quality and supply chain to establish the internal business processes to support the reagent rental program, including quoting, contracts, billing, fulfillment, service and maintenance, and end of contract asset management.
  • Monitor and report on performance and compliance of the reagent rental programs.
  • Strong sales operational background in Life Sciences industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance or life sciences.
  • 7+ years’ functional experience in sales, sales operations, marketing with at least 5 years of experience of developing and managing bundled products and services programs.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast paced medical device/IVD company
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Enjoys and thrives in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills required.
    • Result oriented with the ability and desire to effectively manage a project from start to finish.
    • Highly self-motivated with some project management and financial skills desired.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (modeling, business cases) and Outlook required.
