Job Description

• Works with the President and other senior staff members to define and execute an overall plan in a focused direction that will maximize the revenue and profit value of the Company.
• Analyzes markets that will permit and encourage market penetration of the Company’s products and technologies.
• Develops and implements key account targeted strategies and programs to optimize revenue.
• Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes potential markets by size, business opportunity, and return on investment.
• Develops tactics and strategies to target potential partners and collaborators within prioritized markets.
• Consistently delivers on commitments.


• Seasoned, knowledgeable executive and leader with a minimum of 8 plus years of demonstrated business development experience and proven success closing deals with pharmaceutical companies.
• Have previous established relationships with pharmaceutical companies, preferably in companion diagnostic assays, patient stratification or database licensing endeavors.
• Recent experience with a smaller entrepreneurial environment is a definite asset.
• Solid experience in problem solving skills, analytical thinking, and visionary skills necessary to grow a company are of major importance.
• A well-recognized and respected presence in the industry is a must.
• Strong teamwork bias, working across functional areas to optimize the business.
• B.S. / B.A. in Life Science is required. M.B.A. or equivalent is preferred.
