Job Description

Multiplicom is developing a range of innovative software products for analysis and interpretation of genetic data generated by its test kits. As a member of the software development team located in Ghent, you will:

  • Work together with the Customer Support team in supporting Multiplicom customers using the software products developed by the company.
  • Create documentation to assist customers in using the software (manuals, tutorials, etc.) and provide training.
  • Collect software user feedback, and define software user requirements.
  • Validate software, including testing of new software products and upgrades prior to release.
  • Academic degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bio Engineering or Life Sciences.
  • Solid knowledge of massive parallel sequencing technology and data analysis.
  • Interest in software and software engineering principles.
  • Good oral communication skills, both in English and in French.
  • Ability to write high quality technical documents in English. 
  • Customer service aptitude; fluent communicator; good listener; quality oriented.
