Job Description

Effectively provide technical support on multiple on-going manufacturing and new product development projects.  Act as a technical liaison to Marketing. Participate as a technical advisor on the Panel’s Team and on Custom Product projects.  Determine feasibility of new product requirements. Perform as Product Subject Matter Expert to all areas of the business for planning and new product offerings. Develop and transfer new diagnostic products.  Interact on a regular basis with Marketing, Quality and Regulatory, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Donor Recruiting, and Materials departments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years experience managing biological products involving custom development, preferably with serology based products.
  • Management experience is required.
  • Experience in a structured project management work environment including process improvement, project estimation, project scheduling and tracking is required. 
  • Must have technical understanding of diagnostic controls and infectious disease diagnostic testing.
  • Must have strong analytical skills as evidenced by ability to analyze test results, understand and convert various test methodologies.
  • Must be capable of reviewing and interpreting customer specifications from a technical compliance standpoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration communication, organizational and computer skills are required.
