Job Description

We are looking for an experienced embedded software developer to join our engineering team. You will be part of a team that is integrating a wide range of technologies including robotics, distributed processing, user interface, fluidics, environmental control, microscopy, machine learning and image processing to develop an expanding family of instruments.

Requirements

Required Skills

A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering

5+ years experience w/ system or embedded SW design, development & testing

Strong knowledge of modern C++ including C++11/14, multithreading, Python, Linux, Git

Desirable Skills

Experience with robotics, motion control, fluid handling, cameras, and sensors

Experience with message-oriented systems (RabbitMQ) and vision systems (OpenCV)

Interface design experience with one or more of the following; RS232, RS485, I2C, and CAN preferred

Experience working in an Agile development environment using Atlassian tools (Jira) a plus
