Job Location

Diaceutics will offer the successful candidate an attractive remuneration package. The successful candidate will receive a monthly base compensation and will be eligible for discretionary bonus payments on a quarterly basis. In addition to base compensation and bonus payments, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive restricted shares in Diaceutics.

This full-time, permanent role will report to the Senior Director, Consulting, US, and offers the opportunity to be part of a high calibre multinational team of senior industry experts in the field of Personalized Medicine. As a valued member of our global consulting team, the Senior Consultant / Project Leader will be instrumental in the further development of our North American business and client relationships, thereby filling a critical role in driving the firm’s overall business performance.

Candidate Profile


This position requires a robust understanding of the Personalized Medicine field, the current status and projected future development, critical success factors and business models, and, preferably, an established network of contacts in this area and the broader North American health care and life sciences environment.

The successful candidate needs to have proven his/her ability to lead and manage client projects, including the organization of resources and project structure, the management of project financials against revenue and profitability targets, and the timely delivery of high quality analyses and conceptual work for and on behalf of external or internal clients.

He/she will interact confidently and effectively with clients from analyst to senior executive levels as well as with his/her Diaceutics colleagues within our consulting team and, cross-functionally, in our other businesses. In order to deliver top quality client projects, he/she will combine proven outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities, and a results-driven attitude with a track record as an accomplished negotiator and presenter within a consulting business or a consulting-equivalent function within a pharmaceutical or diagnostics company.  A scientific background in genetics, molecular diagnostics, or a related area is a plus but not an essential prerequisite. Initially supported by senior members of the Diaceutics team, he/she will be expected to independently lead introductory discussions, project proposals and contract negotiations as well as all other relevant client interactions in the medium term.

A critical development objective for the successful candidate will be his/her ability to independently contribute to our firms business development targets by acquiring project engagements for the Consulting division as well as by successfully introducing our other Personalized Medicine services and products to existing and new clients.

Subject to meeting agreed performance and development criteria and overall corporate and business development progress, the Senior Consultant / Project Leader, dependent on his/her level of entry into our firm, will be eligible for promotion to Project Leader or Director, respectively, within 18 months from joining our firm.

Location and Travel:

This position will require the ability and willingness to travel extensively but, owing to our “virtual organization” philosophy, offers the advantages of home-based work and flexible working hours, within the boundaries of business needs and client expectations.
