Job Description

The Senior Biostatistician provides statistical expertise and statistical solutions to clinical projects, including the design and analysis of the clinical development and validation studies in support of GRAIL products. 

  • Participate and contribute to clinical strategies for GRAIL product development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external thought leaders in the design, analysis, interpretation, and publication of clinical studies.
  • Contribute to protocols, statistical analysis plans, study reports, presentations, and publications of clinical studies.
  • Serve as a member of clinical study teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry and academic developments in the Statistical Genomics field and apply to clinical study design and analysis.


  • 5+ years of experience in academia or industry. Molecular diagnostics industry experience preferred.
  • PhD in Biostatistics or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory rules and guidelines, e.g., ICH, GCP, HIPAA.
  • Experience programing in SAS or R.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated track record of success in cross­-functional team environment.
