The UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute seeks a Senior Bioinformatician to be a part of projects such as the California Kids Cancer Comparison (CKCC) and Medbook. The selected candidate will apply scientific and engineering knowledge to manage and integrate complex cancer genomics molecular and clinical data into projects; collaborate and communicate extensively with external entities and provides leadership to achieve consensus within the community on technical solutions; is responsible for defining and implementing data-related requirements, procedures, and technologies; and develops code for migrating molecular and clinical data to software platforms, such as MedBook.
