As a senior scientist in the Department of Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Drug Metabolism (PPDM), you will work with a collaborative bioanalytical team present at multiple US sites and interact with scientists from both PPDM and Discovery Research. The responsibilities will involve high throughput sample analysis using established methodologies and developing assays for the quantitative analysis of small molecules, metabolites, biomarkers and proteins in preclinical studies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Developing and applying robust LC-MS methods for discovery projects 
•Collaborating with PPDM Bioanalytics and discovery team members to advance programs 
•Developing novel analytical approaches (mass spectrometer based and beyond) to support unmet needs in drug discovery 



•PhD OR have met all the requirements for a PhD by June 2016 with a concentration in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Science 

•PhD or met all the requirements for a PhD by June 2016 
•Deep and broad knowledge in analytical science and applied technologies 
•Strong records of developing novel analytical methods or modern instrumentation through publications or collaborations 
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to excel in a team environment 

•Strong desire to achieve in a highly dynamic environment and ability to identify opportunities for delivering projects 
•Knowledge in drug discovery and related disciplines 
•Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze data using advanced software tools 
•Experiences with large molecules are a plus
