How will you make an impact?
Our Oligo Process Development team develops, optimizes, and transfers synthesis, purification, formulation protocols to manufacturing labs for our Genetic Sciences Division. In this role you will be responsible for the Design and Development of DNA and RNA oligomer synthesis and purification methods, from feasibility studies through optimization, analytical QC, Verification & Validation, and manufacturing transfer. Our research projects will develop critical components of some of the tools used for molecular biology and human genetic research, pharmaceutical R&D, environmental studies, agricultural/food testing, and forensic analysis.
What will you do?
• Work in the laboratory on synthesis of oligonucleotides on DNA synthesizer
• Characterization, purification, analysis and in process quality control of oligonucleotides with HPLC, LC-MS and UV-VIS spectrometer
• Write protocols and reports, present data, interact with scientists from other groups
• Perform statistical data analysis using JMP program
