Job Description
  • Grow Quanta’s business by identifying new customer opportunities and increasing portfolio use by existing customers
  • Appropriately develop sales funnel for long term sustained growth
  • Minimize revenue attrition through the use of customer sales data
  • Train, coach and support distribution partners through the use of field travel
  • Provide technical support and thorough knowledge of Quanta’s product line and effective communication of applications related to these products 
  • Support and develop strong external customer relationships by acting as a liaison between the customer and distribution partners
  • Monitor the competition and report important activities (technical developments, trends within key accounts, seminars, training sessions, etc.) back to Quanta management
  • Extract account information from customer sales reports to drive growth and support specific initiatives 
  • Use Salesforce system to capture customer information and track large opportunities 
  • Represent Quanta at shows, workshops and seminars locally and regionally as necessary
  • Possess a 4-year Science Degree 
  • PCR and qPCR bench experience highly desirable
  • Customer service experience with excellent communication skill
  • Sales experience preferred but not essential
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual with positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 4-5 nights per month in multi-state territory (Southwest)
  • Must have a valid US drivers license
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
