Job Description
  • Achieve sales goals for assigned accounts/region (North Germany).  Develop and execute account strategy to drive growth, increase market share and margin expansion for the Multiplicom product portfolio. 
  • Build strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders (eg. sourcing/procurement, scientific leadership, lab managers), especially in field of Human Genetics, Oncology and NIPT testing.
  • Lead the collaborative development and implementation of the complete Mutliplicom portfolio-based strategies to win market share in assigned accounts.
  • Create and execute account sales plans which identify targeted actions to win new business by existing and new customers.
  • Support sales organization by building relationships, sharing best practices and improving efficiencies and communication. 
  • Provide market insight and input into commercial tools, programs and processes that can be leveraged broadly across the organization.
  • Recommend portfolio and pricing strategies for assigned accounts and territory to the Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Routinely provide account and industry updates and reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business updates to key stakeholders within Multiplicom.
  • Partner up with the Application Specialist to organize and set up implementation of new Multiplicom products at customer sites.  
Requirements
  • Academic degree in life science (ideally molecular biology).
  • Strong affinity and lab expertise with Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Commercial experience in the Molecular Diagnostics market.        
  • Commercial aptitude, fluent communicator, excellent negotiator and relationship-builder.
  • Organizational/team work, time management. Presentation/strategic selling/negotiating skills.               
  • Ability to assimilate complex information and present ideas in a simple effective way.
  • Prepared to travel on a regular basis (60%), also to Belgium, as in assigned territory.
  • Have a valid driving license and eligible to work in Germany.
