Job Description

The Research Associate - Production Sequencing will be responsible for routine high-throughput library generation and sequencing from clinical samples. The Research Associate will be responsible for accurate sample tracking and processing from initial receipt of the sample to on-time delivery of high-quality results. She/He will demonstrate rigorous attention to detail and good laboratory practice. This individual will collaborate closely with internal R&D teams to support routine sequencing needs.


  • On-time delivery of routine sequencing results to ensure that internal and external deadlines are met
  • Meticulous specimen and data curation
  • Maintaining detailed, accurate and accessible records of experimental design and results
  • Routine sample processing and sequencing to support R&D efforts

Required Skills and Background

  • 2+ years of laboratory experience is preferred
  • Ability follow SOPs
  • Experience with qPCR and next generation sequencing
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • 2+ years of laboratory experience.


  • A BS, MS in molecular biology or related field.
