The IP & Science business is a global provider of information solutions to assist professionals at every stage of research and development and ensure they maintain and extract maximum value from their intellectual assets. The reimbursement scientific editor position within the Life Sciences Editorial entails the following responsibilities: • Understand the pricing /reimbursement environment and the government/payer review process of medical devices in different countries • Analyze information from several regulatory and scientific sources, and be able to create relationships among data • Index medical devices by therapeutic area, procedure and disease classification indexes • Validate texts/figures/indexing according to defined quality standards • Deliver timely updates on relevant scientific and reimbursement data 1 YEAR CONTRACT


The position requirements are: • Life sciences degree, preferably pharmacy • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree obtained during the last five years • Language requirements: Spanish/English plus German or French • Additional languages strongly preferred – Italian, Dutch, Polish, Japanese • Knowledge of Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics or Medical Devices Regulatory policies is a plus Skills and Competences: • Attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret data and express findings in a clear and concise manner • Ability to deal with complex and demanding information • Experience in retrieving information from various sources • Effective time management • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure • Ability to identify problems and apply creative and effective solutions • Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment • General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools • Good interpersonal skills • A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
