Job Description

Macrogen is seeking a motivated and experienced “Key account/Regional sales manager” who is able to provide on-sight sales support for clients in Asia Pacific region (specifically, Hong Kong and Singapore). The sales manager will be a key sales representative for Macrogen in the market. He/she will work closely with the sales team in headquarter to discover and execute sales in the region.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up this position as soon as possible. You will need to be reliable, dedicated, passion for customer service, work independent as well as enjoy meeting people. Good communication skills are essential.    


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategies achieve target sales/ revenue quota

  2. Manage customer relationships and identify business opportunities in the market through constant and timely emails, calls, and face to face meeting

  3. Work with marketing and sales team in headquarters to update regional price list

  4. Perform quality and quantitative market research to understand customer segment, needs and competitive landscape.

  5. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss with the team regarding the sales activity of the region.


Preferred experience

  • Knowledge in the Genetics is a must

  • Experience in similar industry is advantageous

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Knowledgeable in Korean language would be useful but not necessary

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in timely manner

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in team settings
