Overall responsibility for North America sales team
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that maximizes DNAnexus opportunities across the region.
Manage a team of enterprise software sales representatives that includes recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the DNAnexus sales process. Develop and execute our North American sales plan to maximize revenue. Sell and promote the sale of DNAnexus products and services to prospects and customers including negotiating price, terms, and conditions of the sale. Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the business. Build working relationships with internal colleagues including science and engineering as well as external partners. Generate and achieve monthly regional forecasts and accurately predict revenue on a monthly basis. Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Company specifications. Manage escalations and conduct weekly progress meetings with sales team.
