We offer an exciting career opportunity for a Production Support Engineer I who is passionate about making a difference.


Completes support requests
Troubleshoots issues and performs analysis to identify root causes
Takes responsibility for meeting established Service Level Agreements
Performs application installations and configurations
Attends production meetings, relating issues/concerns and providing responses to past issues
May assist with testing activities (Design and develop test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios in connection with usability, integration, exploratory, and manual testing)
Participates in:
On-call rotation for after-hours support
Deployment process
Monthly maintenance weekends performed by IT
Informatics Systems Development Life Cycle process

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, a related degree, or equivalent experience

Technological background and knowledge of technical concepts and practices.

Understands hardware and operating system issues as they apply to application life cycle.

Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL statements.

Knowledge of scripting language(s).

Basic knowledge of Linux OS

Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills

Demonstrates working knowledge of scientific principles, software language, and computer systems.

Organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented.

Values-based personality with the ability to work selflessly in a team environment

Ability to maintain positive and healthy relationships with all project team members and customers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Detail oriented with attention to process

Understanding of agile software development lifecycle and process methodologies

Software development experience

Software testing experience

Life-science or healthcare industry experience
