Completes support requests
Troubleshoots issues and performs analysis to identify root causes
Takes responsibility for meeting established Service Level Agreements
Performs application installations and configurations
Attends production meetings, relating issues/concerns and providing responses to past issues
May assist with testing activities (Design and develop test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios in connection with usability, integration, exploratory, and manual testing)
On-call rotation for after-hours support
Monthly maintenance weekends performed by IT
Informatics Systems Development Life Cycle process
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, a related degree, or equivalent experience
Technological background and knowledge of technical concepts and practices.
Understands hardware and operating system issues as they apply to application life cycle.
Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL statements.
Knowledge of scripting language(s).
Basic knowledge of Linux OS
