The Sequencing Product Manager is responsible for the product planning, market development and product marketing of the RainDance Sequencing Product Line. This includes managing the portfolio throughout the lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with R&D to deliver differentiated products to the marketplace. The Sequencing Product Manager's job includes engaging Key Opinion Leaders and globally driving the adoption of NGS Enrichment and sales revenue. He/she will use their business knowledge and experience to deliver initiatives with impact that increases placements and grows consumables utilization. The job scope also includes working with sales, marketing communications and field support to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The Product Manager is expected to:
• Play a key role in implementing successful First Access Program for new applications
• Actively engage Key Opinion Leaders in all sales regions
• Define product strategies and roadmaps
• Deliver customer and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Become a subject matter expert with competing target enrichment methods as well as technological alternatives
• Develop core positioning and messaging for the RainDance Sequencing Product Line
• Set pricing strategy to meet revenue and profitability goals
• Develop and deliver business cases for products that extends the portfolio and adds value and differentiation to the product line
• Develop sales tools and collateral; establish a publication strategy that drives adoption
• Work with the Market Communications Manager on promotional and launch campaigns
• Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
• Build up reference sites and establish Centers of Excellence
• Drive business expansion in collaboration with Support, Sales and Marketing



Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• BA or MS degree: PhD in life sciences is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product management or related experience in the Life Science market
• Knowledge and experience in the NGS market segment; experience in oncology is a plus
• Demonstrated success defining and launching genomics/life science products
• Knowledge and experience with design control processes and QSR standards
• Business case development and basic financial analysis skills
• Strong teamwork skills, able to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment and foster collaboration
• Solid organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
