Job Description
  • Conducts preventative maintenance on equipment within the facility.
  • Maintains calibration, validations and preventative maintenance program using the QCBD software. This includes issuing work orders, scheduling service, logging service and storing relevant documentation.
  • Maintains equipment and asset program using the QCBD software and equipment purchase requests.
  • Monitors and responds to equipment performance alerts.
  • Maintains the Custodial Cleaning program, including the monitoring and training of custodial staff.
  • Assists in the creation, implementation, maintenance and improvements to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), where applicable.
  • Trains personnel in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and facilities related software, where applicable.
  • Cooperates and respectfully communicates with external and internal customers. 
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Direct working knowledge of a ERP systems, is beneficial.
  • Ability to ask questions.

  • Ability to follow Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. Degree in a scientific discipline is beneficial. 
  • 4+ years experience in a regulated industry or equivalent combination of education and experience is beneficial.

SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE

No supervisory experience is required for this position

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to perform some tasks that are monotonous & physically demanding.
  • Some activities will take place in an office setting at a desk and on a computer in a temperature controlled environment.
  • Occasional safe lifting of up to 75 pounds. 
  • Safe movement of large pieces of equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, and ultralow freezers is required.
