The preclinical models research assistant or scientist will be involved in the day-to-day running of preclinical and discovery studies for the screening of new LBPs. The candidate should be able to develop preclinical disease model projects and identify and design key biological parameters to test scientific hypotheses and translate in vitro findings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all components are in place for the successful completion of these studies. This involves day-to-day coordination of preclinical and discovery studies, communication with external partners and handling of project variation. This position requires someone with initiative, effective communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
