Job Description

Statistical geneticist in the lab of Carlos E. Alvarez. Will perform genetic mapping of complex traits in working and pet dogs. The main focus is behavioral genetics. Areas of special interest include polygenic risk modeling, pleiotropy with medical traits, and canine-human comparative genomics. Performs conventional and innovative statistical methods. Flexibility with statistical methods and data types are essential. Expertise in experimental molecular genetics and population genetics are highly desired. [See full description on our web site. PhD-level expertise in statistical genetics or related field
