A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately to work on a collaborative project between the laboratory of Eric Holland and Hamid Bolouri in the Human Biology Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC), Seattle, WA. The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will develop data analysis and visualization methods for large-scale, molecularly-detailed, patient timeline data and collaborate with an existing team of bioinformatics, software engineering, and data management system specialists.
Suitable applicants should have a recent Ph.D. degree (0 - 3 years of Post-Doctoral experience) in bioinformatics, computer science, biostatistics, or related disciplines.
Candidates must have at least one 1st author publication nearing publication.
Experience with manipulation and analysis of next-generation sequencing data using the R and/or Python programming languages is highly desirable.
The proven ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively in both spoken and written English is required.
