Job Description

We are seeking PhD level variant assessment specialists to join our multi-disciplinary medical team of technical directors, medical directors, biostatisticians and genetic counselors. Variant assessment specialists participate in the analysis of diagnostic molecular genetic test results. Variant assessment involves evaluation of published literature, clinical data and review of both functional and in silico data to provide accurate, thorough, and thoughtful clinical interpretation of results.


-          PhD in molecular genetics, human genetics, molecular pathology or related field.

-          Candidates must have thorough and ongoing knowledge of current theories and principals of human medical genetics, cancer genetics and hereditary cancer disorders.

-          The ideal candidate is expected to have expertise in areas such as next generation sequence analysis, molecular test designs and online human genomic resources.  

You must have excellent time management as well as oral and written communication skills.
