Job Description

As a member of the Information Systems team, you will be involved with the day-to-day administration of all Oracle systems and associated interfaces. You will play an integral role in supporting the Oracle R12.1.2 E-Business Suite environment as well as assist and/or lead new development efforts.



- Participate in testing Oracle application and database upgrades.

- Support and partner with the business, management and employees on the utilization of Oracle technologies.

- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and issue resolution within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment.

- Assist in developing strategies to integrate business processes with information technologies.

- Utilize analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills to effectively manage issues.

- Thorough understanding of the testing process.

- Serve as a department liaison to technical IT counterparts and to external vendors and technology providers.

- Produce standard and ad hoc reports for business units and management.

- Manage user documentation and provide end-user training.


- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or related fields

- 3-5 years experience in the implementation and support of Oracle applications (version 11i or 12R)

- Implementation of Oracle Applications at 3 or more companies is strongly preferred.

- Previous experience with International implementations (currencies, globalizations, multiple languages, etc.).

- Previous experience with Oracle Discoverer preferred.

- Previous experience with MicroStrategy preferred.

- Previous experience working with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

- Previous experience in writing SQL-based queries using TOAD or SQL*Plus.

- Previous experience with Oracle Applications Open Interfaces, PL/SQL, APIs and Workflows.

Previous experience with the following modules/tools is a plus: Advanced Benefits, Alerts, AP, AME, APEX, AR, BOM, BPA, Costing, FA, GL, HR, iExpense, iProcurement, Inventory, MRP, Oracle Exchange, Oracle Supplier Network, Payroll, Purchasing, Time and Labor, WIP, XML Publisher, WorkFlow Builder.
