Job Description

Position: Marketing Intern

Length of Position: 6 months

Reports to: Marketing Application Specialist

Twist Bioscience is looking for a Marketing Intern to be a part of a dynamic and collaborative marketing team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with marketing collateral development and review, data entry and database management, deployment of email campaigns, tracking and reporting of email campaigns, planning and executing social media marketing campaigns, as well as other marketing-related tasks.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing team to assist with development of collateral, including but not limited to: pre-event marketing collateral, sales materials, and client/customer facing messaging
  • Develop and deploy email campaigns
  • Data entry into Salesforce and other databases
  • Analyze success of marketing initiatives and tactics, and present results to marketing team
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and distribution of marketing supplies, gifts, swag, and branded inventory
  • Track invoices and reconcile event budgets
  • Support trade shows and events, including planning, prepping, and follow through in relation to tradeshow activities
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in marketing, biological sciences, or related fields or currently enrolled in a college/university 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • An acute attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience with HTML
