We are looking for a strategic professional to drive application growth for Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) in new areas and markets. This creative individual will collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and cultivate key strategic partnerships both internally, within our Commercial Development organization and externally with industry Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Ideal candidates have a strong technical understanding of Next Gen Sequencing and a passion for expanding its impact on human health.

- Identify new commercial opportunities and inform market strategies through a deep understanding of customer and marketplace dynamics and trends.
- Manage a set of priority accounts and build partnerships to develop and advance commercial opportunities.
- Execute commercial strategies aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction by aligning customer needs to product solutions.
- Build and further relationships with key decision makers and/or potential influencers in priority accounts
- Maintain and own relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to understand and prioritize complete systems (sample to answer) development and drive associated development plans.
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver product or system requirements.
- Function independently and coordinate assay development or project plans with internal and external scientists.
- Develop and implement strategy for enablement of potential products or systems for a regulated or defined market.
- Address challenges and solve problems within a regulated or defined environment.
- Drive Market Leadership position for Illumina’s product portfolio.
