All About You
Perform a wide variety of assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under general supervision
Perform work order processing to complete product lots and move to inventory
Perform reagent fill manufacturing activities in accordance with process workflows and written instructions
Perform kitting and other packaging functions in accordance with process workflows and written instructions
Use complex automated robotic systems to manage liquid product through a highly automated workflow
Mixing, storing, and disposing of chemical solutions
Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling chemical reagents
Perform inspection of manufactured products
Notify supervisors or other designated personnel of production problems (product nonconformance, work order discrepancies, equipment malfunction, etc.)
Maintain manufacturing supplies and requisition as needed
Maintain an organized, safe and efficient work area at all times (6S)
Communicate suggestions for improvements to supervisor in order to enhance product quality, employee productivity, and workplace safety
All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities
Ability to use a computer for data entry into electronic systems
Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision
Ability to operate automated equipment, use basic hand tools, and lift up to 25lbs.
Preferred educational background:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college level science courses or training are a plus.
Preferred experiential background:
1-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer literacy in a Windows environment
Familiarity with standard laboratory practices
Experience with GMP and FDA regulated products a plus
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and 6S a plus
Knowledge and skills typically acquired through previous positions in a fast-paced corporate environment with similar involved responsibilities is a plus
