Job Description

You will be involved with both our R&D and our production environment, with responsibility for improving our current deployment, monitoring and backup systems to handle our scaling up. Being supervised by the IT Director, your main objectives will be:

• Improve the release and deployment of our production service

• Automate the installation of our in house development cluster on CentOS

• Put in place an offline tape backup system

• Maintain the CentOS based servers used by R&D, to ensure consistency

• Work closely with our external consultants to maintain and improve our infrastructure and network

Requirements

You are motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. You are a team player and have the capacity to work independently on a project to completion.

You are an engineer with a diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with:

•  Comfortable with BASH scripts and proficient in at least one script language (eg perl, python, BASH)

•  Good knowledge of linux (CentOS)

•  Good knowledge of Apache HTTP, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, MySQL

•  Experience with monitoring tools eg. Zabbix

•  Experience with various development tools eg. Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory

•  Experience with automated installation – eg Puppet

•  Knowledge of Windows Server administration / Exchange / Active Directory would be an advantage

The candidate must speak English, French would be an advantage.
