We’re looking for talented and passionate team players to join our fast-paced startup company.. We are looking for an eager and enthusiastic Research Associate who can dive into multiple tasks and take on many responsibilities.  This position requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work hard to push product development forward.  This position could entail working shifts that would cover evenings and weekends.

Job Description


  • Conduct sequencing experiments on the GenapSys platform
  • Optimize the laboratory workflow associated with the GenapSys platform.
  • Help drive productivity increases through technological insights, exceptional time management skills and a “can do” approach to the challenges at hand.
  • Collaborate well within a multidisciplinary organization
  • Follow and develop well-documented SOPs


  • BS/MS in STEM field with 0-5 years experience in an industrial or academic environment.
  • Results oriented and methodical – must work within tight schedules.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas and have the ability to work independently.
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and communication skills and efficient at getting task done
  • Prior experience with NGS workflow a plus
