AncestryHealth (www.AncestryHealth.com) is seeking a motivated and accomplished regulatory affairs lead with significant in vitro diagnostics experience, including pre-market and 501k submissions, quality systems, CLIA and marketing applications. The position is both technical and strategic in nature. The Head of Regulatory will work closely with a team of VP-level executives with expertise in areas such as Medical Affairs, Product Development, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Operations and Engineering to further develop and execute a consumer health-focused strategy.  The strategy will leverage the company’s assets (Ancestry and AncestryDNA) and will integrate in vitro diagnostics, consumer genomics, family health history, population health, and healthcare IT platforms to create a compelling, valuable, and actionable customer health experience. 

  • The candidate will have a minimum of ten years of successful experience.  
  • The candidate must have a passion for strategically using genomic data to further advance healthcare, population health, and wellness. 
  • Knowledge in the areas of personalized medicine, diagnostics, molecular biology, biomarkers, genetics, and/or sequencing is important.
  • The individual will be well versed in the FDA and other regulated bodies’ position on consumer genomics, as well as have an understanding of the emerging trends in personalized medicine.
