Job Description

QIAGEN is looking for a Global Product Manager for the Germantown, Md campus. This person is directly responsible for leading global marketing activities for exciting new QuantiFERON®pipeline products.

• Lead a cross-functional program team in the development and market introduction of QFN pipeline related products.
• Work with global and regional marketing teams to implement launch of new QFN product marketing strategies across the globe.
• Development of QFN pipeline product marketing messages.
• Develop and coordinate appropriate QFN pipeline product awareness activities.
• Monitor effectiveness of marketing and sales support materials and adjust accordingly.
• Develop and maintain customer demand forecasts, including liaison with Operations for proper supply chain management of QFN pipeline products.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate, Regulatory and Quality policies, with regard to development process and marketing/technical printed material.
• Work with R&D and Medical & Scientific Affairs on key strategic clinical study requirements to support QFN pipelineCMV and Monitor product messaging.
• Remain current with medical and scientific literature relevant to QFN pipeline products.
• Make presentations as needed to local and international forums on QFN pipeline products in general.


• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Science or a discipline that demonstrates the ability to follow complex reasoning based on biological principles.
• A plus to have a degree in marketing or business administration and/or in program/project management as well.
• Five or more years of global product and/or program management experience (5 or more years) in a medical technology/healthcare company is essential.
• Excellent presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Customer service orientation required.
• Good clinical acumen and ability conduct tabletop demonstrations and articulate technical attributes. • Experienced negotiator and ability to prepare, edit and execute necessary contracts and documents.
