Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and executing a global tactical marketing plan for Bionano including: scientific meetings, regional seminars, user workshops and print/digital media, targeting priority segments and geographies to drive demand generation and brand awareness.
- Lead the research, planning, promotion and manage the budget for global conferences and events; work with other marketing stakeholders, external vendors and regional field sales teams to execute selected conference exhibits and sponsorships.
- Partner with product manager to develop value propositions and messaging for target markets; infuse messages throughout tactical marketing plans.
- Serve as a partner to regional sales leaders; collaborate with regional sales teams and distributors to implement plans and messaging. Become the subject matter expert for specific business areas.
- Work with product marketing, R&D, Support and Scientific Affairs colleagues to create marketing content for Bionano including the development of collateral, web copy, sales aids, presentations, webinars, speaking engagements, etc.
- Leverage customer insights and personas to guide marketing programming.
- Identify, nurture and manage a global funnel of scientists who could serve as speakers or present scientific posters at scientific events and workshops to share their research highlighting Bionano data.
- Planning, promotion and implementation of webinars featuring internal and external speakers.
- Work with vendors/agencies as needed to deliver high quality deliverables at appropriate budgets.
- Manage project budgets; track and report on marketing milestones.
- Report and monitor campaign performance, suggest and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign ROI, and maximize business impact.
