Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for selling GE Healthcare products or services to, and
maintaining relationships with existing named accounts including large, complex, high visibility,
strategic, or tactically important accounts. The Gene Modulation Sales Specialist (GMS) is
responsible for the maintenance and growth of the RNAi, Gene Expression, and CRISPR-Cas9
Gene Editing business of the Dharmacon-branded product portfolio across the assigned territory.

Requirements

BS Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or related field

At least 3 years of previous sales experience in either RNA Interference, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or the broader Life Science research market.

At least 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in life science research, molecular biology, cell biology or related areas

At least 4 years of demonstrated selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, closing and growing a sales territory

In-depth knowledge of either cell biology, molecular biology, RNA interference, Gene Expression, or Gene Editing

Knowledge of market place.

Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region, including an estimated up to 40% overnight travel.

Must be willing to live in and work in the Mid-West territory with preference given to the Chicago or Detroit metro areas.
