Job Description

The Genomics Institute seeks a Finance & Executive Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager to support the financial operations of the Genomics Institute. This position interacts with units internal and external to the Genomics Institute - including Institute grant administrators, program managers, and principal investigators; and with UCSC financial office, procurement department and divisional business office - to help financial operations run smoothly and within policy. The Finance & Executive Assistant also works closely with the Executive Assistant to the Scientific Director on his travel arrangements and reimbursements. This position is part of a collegial administrative team dedicated to providing accurate, insightful, analytical, and timely administrative leadership, support, and oversight to enable scientific and technical advancements.
