Candidates required to have laboratory experience with applications such as next generation sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, digital and/ or real-time PCR assays. Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is an advantage. Individuals must be self-motivated and goal oriented with a strong desire for success. The successful candidate has strong technical molecular biology knowledge and the drive to serve as the regional technical expert supporting one or more Regional Sales Managers and their teams.
The role requires direct selling of company products through the provision of product demonstrations, customer technical product education and technical product evaluation support on an as needed basis. The successful candidate will execute the sales plan to achieve established sales and financial goals; call on current and prospect customers; lead customer product evaluations through the cross-functional engagement of technical, scientific and in-house commercial personnel to drive customer capture; supports resolution of current user issues and problems through partnering with the technical support team; may participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan; and controls sales expenses.
Self-motivation and planning to achieve performance targets will be required. Complete and timely submission of paperwork associated with job description is required. Other duties may be assigned. Quotas will be assigned and compensation and performance will be based on quotas achieved. Overall performance and reviews will be based on quotas and other performance criteria.
