We are looking for someone that is confident, organised, proactive and entusiastic - able to adapt to our continually evolving environment. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant professional related experience including planning, coordinating and executing events in a healthcare company a plus

The Marketing & Event Collaborator will be primarily responsible in:

  • Assisting the marketing manager with marketing activities
  • Plan, organize, promote, manage and execute onsite and offsite events (congresses, workshops, webinars)
  • Prepare event budgets, contracts and post-event reports
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of catering personnel, entertainment, and other vendors
  • Ensure effective advertising and promotion of events including social media, newsletters, emailing, invitations
  • Work effectively with staff from all departments to facilitate event planning and execution
  • Support the sales team (promotional material, bookings, presentation, etc.)
  • Anticipate project needs and discern work priorities
  • Monitor event timelines
  • Manage sponsorships opportunities
  • Submit progress reports to leadership team for each event project
  • Prepare and share planning, tabs, and process
  • Training of Sales Team (messaging, good habits, behavior, etc.)



Previous experience in congress management, coordinating and executing events from conception to completion.

- Ability to solve complex problems and issues, highly organized and detail oriented 

- Ability to speak in front of a small and large groups 

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain connections, lead and oversee a high-stress event environment with vendors, suppliers and customers

- Ability to travel from time to time 

- Strong ability to multi task and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Creative and able to think outside the box

- Full proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite

- Bilingual skills: English and French; any other language is a plus
