Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced scientist to build and lead a team dedicated to develop first/best-in-class NGS products for diagnostics and research services.  

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the NGS team for innovative assay design, development, registration and commercial laboratory implementation; 

Design NGS assays for precision medicine, develop proof-of-concept and supervise wet lab experiments for NGS assay development activities;

Provide technical advice, operating procedures, training and troubleshooting support for new technologies emerging from Assay Development;

Contribute to company new product strategies and business strategies;

Communicate and present work progress by written reports and oral presentation

 

Requirements

Requirements

Education/Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Genetics or Biomedical Science, fluent in English and Chinese

At least 5 years of NGS assay development experience preferrably in a regulated environment with an established quality management system ISO13485, experience in successfully developing FDA/CE/NMPA-approved NGS products is a plus

Excellent leadership skills, excellent organisation, time management and communication skills

Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build relationships
