Job Description

Pharma-Cruiting Life Sciences Executive Search is seeking an experienced Director, Clinical Laboratory Operations for our Next Generation Sequencing Precision Medicine company client. Our client is rapidly growing and looking for a leader to grow their Laboratory Operations team.

Our client's Lab is highly robotic, state of the art and uses the newest and latest Illumina Sequencing equipment .

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Daily operations of running the NGS Laboratory
  • Work with a cutting-edge genomics workflow to provide high-quality next-generation sequencing data with rapid turnaround times.
  • Utilize automation and robotics to standardize the discovery pipeline from sample acquisition to sequencing output.
  • Maintain quality metrics and data generation for next-generation sequencing platforms.
  • Work to establish and maintain CLIA/CAP compliance



Experience required:

  • Management of a NGS Lab Operations
  • Building an NGS lab team and expanding the capacity of the lab
  • Liquid biopsies and validating RNA.
  • Oncology experience desired not required
  • Experience with CAP & CLIA and accrediting process.
