Job Description
  • Directly responsible for strategic planning and execution of sales objectives in half of US with PierianDx NGS workflow and interpretation software
  • Qualify and develop opportunities with academic medical centers, health systems, and commercial labs launching NGS
  • Develop strategies with current customers as consultative partner to expand assay breadth
  • Effectively work as critical team player with executive, development, and marketing teams with customer best-interest at the forefront
  • Exercise full accountability for revenue forecasting and overall CRM account and regional management
  • Own every step in sales cycle with full understanding of customer’s business, customer’s problems, and be able to fully articulate Pierian’s solution orientation to that problem
  • Ensure quarterly and annual revenue and strategic targets are exceeded while owning customer interface for PierianDx
  • Strong and sincere interest in participating in the cutting edge of patient care and changing lives
  • Scientific degree, Masters or PhD strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years or equivalent direct sales experience directly selling into life sciences with documented success as top performer
  • Candidate must score high on “coachability” assessments
  • Significant territory management and sales experience in field of genomics and/or pathology strongly preferred
  • Company is open to solution-oriented field clinicians with considerable experience in NGS that fulfill other requirements and possess competitive edge
  • Candidate must be fully capable of best-practice Challenger Selling in competitive environment with full ownership of sales cycle and strong closing ability
  • Highly intelligent with consultative customer approach and polished public speaking is absolute necessity
  • Ability to excel at the highest level within customer organizations, including academic chairs, medical directors, and health system C-Suite
  • Highest understanding of scientific applications and technology developments as it relates to customers/prospects and dynamic healthcare space, including reimbursement
  • Role would ideally be based in St. Louis, but remote office is acceptable if candidate is in close proximity to major airport
