About Our Organization

"Clinical Genomicist Workspace" (CGW) was developed at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, academic pioneer in the field of genomics.  PierianDx commercialized CGW in 2014 and now has a sharing network of 28 partner academic centers, community hospital, and reference labs, all of which publish and share interpretations in the CGW knowledgebase.  We are located in the vibrant Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, with 47 employees spread across two continents.  PierianDx is the only company that has an NGS-in-a-box offering for health systems that do not have NGS labs, and we are differentiated from other NGS software companies in that we support constitutional and somatic testing, both in bioinformatic analysis and annotation/draft reporting.
