Job Description

Development Technologist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :· Coordinating development and validation studies with laboratory directors, staff and supervisors.· Appropriate documentation of development and validation tasks, including writing validation summaries, cost estimates and standard operating procedures.· Validate and implement laboratory tests using established and emerging technologies.· Development/validation of new testing methodologies and/or platforms.· Initial training of laboratory technologists in assays for clinical use

Requirements

Basic Minimum Qualifications :· M.Sc. or Ph.D. in genetics, molecular biology, biology, or related life science field.· Demonstrated experience with next generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing, and PCR primer design.· Experience with Microsoft Office.· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
