Job Description

Twist Bioscience is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a temporary 2 month contract to report to our Director, Process Development. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, attention to detail, advanced experience in Excel and Google sheets. 




  • Able to write/communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Familiar with and able to operate a Mac running mac OS.
  • Advanced level of experience with Microsoft Word writing formulas and tracking data in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Able to work with little or no supervision once trained.
  • Trustworthy with good personal and professional references as incumbent may be asked to work with sensitive data.




  • Keen understanding of basic business operations (systems, processes, departments, functions).
  • Must enjoy problem solving and working with complex systems and processes.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal diplomacy and project management skills.
  • Superior customer service skills and desire to always enhance the customer experience.
  • Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, and Google Sheets.
