Job Description

UES, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Computational Toxicologist to join our team, supporting research in the 711th HPW, USAF School of Aerospace Medicine at Wright-Patterson AFB.  The position will involve development and application of kinetic and statistical models with data from physiology, biology, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and exposure characterization. The Computational Toxicologist must have a Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, toxicology, environmental toxicology, pharmacology or related disciplines with a strong foundation in applied and quantitative science.  Experience with programming/scripting languages and familiarity with computational modeling (e.g., PK, PBPK, and QSAR) is required. Experience working with biological data from toxicity, metabolism, and pharmacokinetic studies, both in vivo and in vitro (either computationally or experimentally), is preferred. Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate is essential.

Requirements
  • Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, toxicology, environmental toxicology, pharmacology or related disciplines with a strong foundation in applied and quantitative science is required.
