Job Description

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a world-renowned research and educational institution with programs in cancer, neuroscience, plant biology, genomics and bioinformatics. The Laboratory is recognized internationally for its excellence in research and educational activities.


We are looking for an experienced Bioinformatician to work within Greg Hannon’s lab. The successful applicant will ideally have some background knowledge in biology, and prior experience of analyzing large collections of RNAseq data, methylation data, whole genome data etc. PhD is preferred however not essential. The applicant will work closely with other lab members and be involved in projects such as tumor associated immune cells and cancer cell dormancy.


For this position a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or software engineering, or even 1 year of relevant work experience is required. PhD is preferred however not essential.
